Common questions
The app says my swing video failed to upload +
The most common causes:
- Slow connection: CaddiQ needs about 5–15 MB per swing. Try Wi-Fi if mobile data is patchy.
- Video too long: swings should be under 10 seconds each. Re-record if your clip exceeds this.
- Background app refresh disabled: Settings → CaddiQ → Background App Refresh → ON.

Camera setup tips for the best analysis +
- Distance: phone 3–4 metres from the ball.
- Height: waist height — use a tripod, golf bag, or any flat raised surface.
- Angle: face-on (perpendicular to your target line) or down-the-line (along your target line). Avoid angled views.
- Frame: your full body and the club head should be visible throughout the swing.
- Lighting: outdoor daylight is best. Avoid backlighting.
- Background: simple, contrasting backgrounds help analysis. Avoid busy backgrounds where possible.
How do I delete a session or my account? +
Delete a session: open the session from your home screen → tap the menu (…) in the top-right → Delete.
Delete your account: Profile tab → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your sessions, profile and email within 30 days.

Can I use CaddiQ indoors? +
Yes — ranges, indoor nets, and simulators all work. The same camera setup tips apply. Lighting matters more indoors; LED ceiling lights are usually fine.
What devices does CaddiQ support? +
iPhone: iPhone XR / XS or newer, running iOS 17 or later.
iPad: supported as a viewing device for analysis. Camera capture is iPhone-first.
Android: on the roadmap. Join the waitlist on the homepage to be notified.
I'm in TestFlight beta — how do I give feedback? +
Two ways:
- Take a screenshot in the app and tap "Share Beta Feedback" in the screenshot menu.
- Email us directly at beta@caddiq.com.au.
Bug reports are most useful when they include device model, iOS version, app version, and steps to reproduce.
Subscription, billing and refunds +
All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. To manage, pause, or cancel: open the App Store → tap your profile photo → Subscriptions → CaddiQ.
Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply, contact us directly at support@caddiq.com.au.
